A super delicious recipe for a snack through out the day or a special canapes for a party. I just made up this recipe by throwing a few ingredients in a pan and hoping for the best, they ended up so tasty that I eat enough for two people when I was hoping I will diet a bit after the Christmas Dinner I had :)
- 5 chestnut mushrooms
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 small red chilly
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp soya sauce
- slices of crusty bread (i used baguette)
Cut the mushrooms in small cubes and finely chop the garlic and chilly then fry them in a little bit of oil. When the mushroom are soft add the balsamic vinegar and soya sauce leaving everything to simmer for 10 - 15 minutes. Place the slices of bread on a platter and cover with the mushrooms. You can toast the bread I prefer mine just as it is. Serve immediately!
